This centuries old tradition has kindled an idea to revisit the afternoon ritual. We provide the opportunity to share some time with dear friends, and you can return to a more peaceful time, even if only for a few hours. Capture the essence of this regal, English tradition, learn how and why the world is steeped in tea history.
Imagine dining in an elegant, Victorian tearoom specializing in delicious, English Afternoon Teas and High Teas in the evening. You will feel pampered as you select from over 137 premium black, oolong, herbal, organic, flower blossom balls, chai, rooibos, green and white teas. Indulge yourself with genuine, imported, Devonshire clotted creams; shortbreads from Scotland and some of the richest chocolates in the world. You can almost smell the warm, fragrant exotic scones, fresh from the oven. Savories (tea sandwiches), Desserts, Salads and Soups, all freshly prepared in our new gourmet kitchen, using authentic recipes from England, Europe and internationally known chefs!
Just a short drive from Baltimore, Gettysburg, Frederick, York and Wheeling, it's well worth the drive from anywhere! We can accommodate bus tours and we are handicapped accessible as well.
We offer "bend over backward service"©, authentic English and European gourmet tea foods and one of the largest premium tea selections on the East Coast. Our gift shoppe is laden with wonderful and gorgeous ideas for someone very special or yourself!
There is plenty of free parking, however, carpooling is suggested. Reservations are requested 2-3 weeks in advance and held by a major credit card or 50% deposit for parties of 6 or more.
